Millions of Americans are now effected by orders – whether compulsory or optional – to stay at home. Whether it’s called “Shelter In Place” or “Lockdown” or “Quarantine” or “Isolation,” the practice boils down to one thing: You’re not supposed to leave home unless absolutely necessary.

Yet, life goes on. Our homes need to function, our needs must be met, children cared for, food prepared, maybe a job performed, our marriages sustained, albeit in an admittedly strained and unsatisfying way – despite a locked-down state.
